JOB DESCRIPTION – BIM (BUILDING INFORMATION MODELLING) ENGINEER
Production of BIM models and generate shop drawings, schedules, documents required to support construction of Baggage-Handling-System (BHS) and Cargo Handling System (CHS)
Qualification:
Technical degree in civil or mechanical engineering
At least 3 years’ experience
Expert knowledge of Revit and Navisworks with ability to provide 4D modelling
Skilled in 3D AutoCAD
Must have basic knowledge in Architecture, Interior Design, Structural Engineering, MEP Engineering or related field.
Ability to interpret Primavera schedules
Advanced knowledge of MS Office
Excellent written and verbal skills in English
Ability to work in a team
(German could be an advantage)
Main Tasks:
BIM modeling for design documents
Draft, generate general arrangement plans, diagrams, sections, elevations and schedule in Revit based on Tender / Contract drawings issued
Modify and maintain BIM files for use in design drawings
Coordinate and assist BIM team in modeling of projects based off existing 2D CAD plans or construction documents
Assist both internal and external team members in the development of construction documents and as-built document creation
Maintenance and proper utilization of company/project standards, templates and content
To receive RFI’s, acting on the details
To act on the issued engineers’ instructions
To receive and act on design changes
Identify and notify potential discrepancies in contract documents.
To complete work to the highest standard, ensuring a high-quality product for the client
To ensure all work is passed to the document controller for filing
To support the Coordinator and Manager by providing information for site queries
To provide procurement details of supplies needed
