JOB DESCRIPTION – PLC COMMISSIONING

Development of S7 PLC Programs for Baggage-Handling-System (BHS) and Cargo Handling System (CHS)

Qualification:

• Ability to design systems using ProfiNET, ProfiBus & AS-i is required

• Program languages: Step7 &TIA – LAD, SCL, STL

• Reading and understanding of electrical drawings

• Understanding of installation methodology (i.e. cable differences, trucking types, etc.) is a pre-requisite

• Understanding of PLC control and processes is advantageous, with tendency towards Siemens products (i.e. S7-400, 1200, 1500)

• Excellent skills in Microsoft

• Ability to interpret Primavera schedules

• Excellent written and verbal skills in English

• Ability to work in a team, able to work together with different people and from different cultures

• (German could be an advantage)

• (Understanding of ATR & RFID is an advantage)

• (Experience in WinCC is an advantage)

Main Tasks:

• Commissioning of the developed airport logistics systems

• Supporting the subcontractors (electrical, mechanical)

• Definition and clarification of interfaces with the customer and sub-contractors

• Definition of standard specifications

• Development of new PLC-Segments for mechanical prototypes

• Developing PLC software, familiarize programmers with the cargo system, who will be able to program and commission:

  • Loading-stations, Truck-docks

  • Hoists-lifts,

  • Roller and Right Angle Decks,

  • Turn-tables,

  • Transport vehicles,

  • etc…

• Complete commissioning of an BHS/Cargo up to the customer acceptance

• Organization and leading of commissioning in sub-systems

• Generation of system documentations

• Training of customers’ employees
